Our Day initiative is designed to inspire and empower young minds to develop practical, technology-driven solutions to the pressing humanitarian challenges facing the African continent. By leveraging humanitarian technology, we seek to channel the creativity, innovation, and energy of youth into real-world impact.
Our core mission is to nurture the ideas of young innovators and support them in evolving their visions into tangible solutions. We believe that young people are not only the leaders of tomorrow but also the problem-solvers of today.
We are committed to providing long-term support to outstanding teams. We aim to connect the most promising projects with incubators, mentors, and funding opportunities. This ecosystem will help participants move beyond the Day stage—accelerating their solutions toward market readiness and real-world implementation.

JAC-ECC is an annual conference uniting researchers, primarily from Egypt and Japan, to exchange knowledge in Tech fields. IEEE E-JUST Student Branch has supported its organization for the past two years and will continue in 2026.
IEEE E-JUST Student Branch held Bio-Vision Event on September 25, 2024, focusing on biomedical engineering innovations with expert-led sessions and cultural activities like origami and kimono dressing, providing networking opportunities and career development insights.
E-JUST is a research university with the ambition of cultivating an academic environment and becoming a benchmark for education in Egypt and African countries. It was first established as a bilateral agreement project between the Egyptian and Japanese governments in May 2009. In 2010, it was ready to accept its first batch of students, making the dream a reality.

IEEE SIGHT E-JUST Student Branch Affinity Group is an affinity group committed to addressing humanitarian challenges by leveraging science, engineering, and technology. Its mandate is to build a more informed and empowered community by promoting scientific and technological awareness and collaborating with industries and organizations that share the same humanitarian vision.
